Financial and Personal Freedom
I am guided
to talk about financial and personal freedom at a time where many
feel powerless and fear filled related to finances and security.
Isn't this what we we all seek....financial and personal
freedom? We aren't looking for money for more things.
I think we have learned by now that things don't bring
us peace, freedom or true JOY. Things take up our
space, time and energy. Only freedom brings peace and JOY.
The freedom I am talking about is the freedom of choice to work
when and where we want and in jobs we love, the ability to
live in neighborhoods or towns that we choose, to get gas when we
need it, heat our homes, the ability to afford Higher education
for our children, and on it goes.
I am
reminded over and over the past few months of the need to block
out the negativity connected to lack thinking. People talk
about the economy and how hard this winter is going to be in New
England. They talk about how they can't move to jobs they
love as they are trapped by their salaries in jobs they know they
have outgrown. The Angels tell me over and over that the
reality is that nothing external is controlling you.
Financial and personal freedom is an internal job. One that
you have complete and total control over. You are in the
jail cell with the key.
So how do we
overcome the "reality" of lack that many are living
right now. It begins with your attitude of gratitude for the
wonderful life you already have. Then you add some positive knowings
like..."Money comes in many ways." or
"Everything works out well for me." Catch yourself
with the negative patterning of beliefs when you think things
like "Wanting money is bad or not spiritual." or
"I am only worthy of love/ respect/ abundance if I am working
at it." or "Money only comes from my salary or in a way
I can figure out." or "Wealthy people are selfish or
aren't really happy anyway." The truth is you can
be of much more service to the world if your needs are met.
The more abundance you allow to come to you, the more you can pass
it on.
I had a
really hard time for many years with my worthiness being connected
to my "doing." It still creeps its judgmental head
many times when I am feeling not enough. But then I remind
that judgmental voice that I am enough and no doing will make me a
better person. I am of much more service to the world when I am
appreciating and accepting myself in all my humanness and just
BEING. I am learning that if I am guided to Do, it needs
to be an action guided by my heart. When it is guided by my
human mind, it is a lower self guidance and not a Higher
self/Spirit direction. I can tell which is directing me by
the way I feel. When I am guided by my Higher/ God self I
feel inspired, excited, joyful and happy which tells me love is
the catalyst. When I am guided by my lower/ ego self I feel
pressured, forced, guilty or like I am being driven by fear.
I could fill
a book with the incredible miraculous ways that financial
abundance has come to me over the years with no physical
"work" on my part. My only effort in it has been
to be vigilant in catching myself from blocking it and knowing I'm
deserving of it, as we all are. You know about the trip to
Europe this past spring that cost us $300. Everytime my
husband said we couldn't afford to go to Scotland, I put my
hands up to God and said..."If we are supposed to be there, it
will happen." Then I imagined what it would be
like if we went without financial worries and felt great while I
imagined. I could never have dreamed I would be on a
private leer jet, staying in a beautiful B+B and then 4 days
in Belgium would be added to it.
Lots of
times people don't hear the hope in the stories of others
successes but instead think of an excuse why its possible for
me but not for them or add it to their justification of why they
aren't worthy. Your only work is to guide yourself away from
the negative thoughts and move to the positive thoughts.
That 's the only real "action" that you need.
Don't try to figure anything out. Be happy for others
successes so they can become yours as well. Let the Universe
give you your desires in a way you could have never thought of.
Have fun with it all along the way, not just when it is created.
Creating is more fun then the actual manifestation anyway.
I was given
this daily reminder from Esther and Jerry Hicks this week and
it so resonates with this topic of financial and personal freedom.
"All the resources you will ever want or need are at your fingertips. All you have to do is identify what you want to do with it, and then practice the feeling-place of what it will feel like when that happens. There is nothing you cannot be or do or have. You are blessed Beings; you have come forth into this physical environment to create. There is nothing holding you back, other than your own contradictory thought. And your emotion tells you you're doing that. Life is supposed to be fun—it is supposed to feel good! You are powerful Creators and right on schedule. Savor more; fix less. Laugh more; cry less. Anticipate positively more; anticipate negatively less. Nothing is more important than that you feel good. Just practice that and watch what happens. There is great love here for you. 2003 I order their monthly CDs and find them so helpful in staying in alignment with my Higher/ God self. When I am feeling off, I pop one in and line back up with the truth. I am worthy of abundance in all its forms...spiritual, health, financial and in relationships, as we all are. So this newsletter is a nudge to take back your power and KNOW with all of your soul that you deserve life to be good...not just good but fantastic. We will experience everything here. As you know the first half of the summer was a rough one for me and my family with three losses in a row. But through faith, reaching out to others and feeling the love and prayers, we are all in a better space now. I thank you for the love and prayers that you sent us. I know they helped so much. We are all in this together. Losses are part of our experience here. But in the space between let your life be as wonderful as you intended it to be before you came into these bodies. There is plenty of abundance for us all. The supply is only limited by your imagination. Money is just energy which has no limits. As you let it flow to you and through you, it blesses you and all those down the line. I continue to offer Blessings, Peace, Gratitude, Healing and Appreciation to this beautiful planet, all those we love and those that it is is hard for us to love in my distant daily healing work.
